If your dream is to sail off somewhere on your own boat, you can get closer to that dream by enrolling at Island Time Academy. Couples discounts and weekday specials are offered.
We offer a complete curriculum including navigation, coastal and offshore cruising and bareboat certification.
Our specialty is working with couples to develop good teamwork. Shouting is never necessary.
You’ll learn theory and practical skills. We’ll take you as far as you wish to go, even racing.

Depart our docks for a wonderful hour cruise on the river and inlet. The quiet of the sail is broken only by the sounds of nature and the wind. If you must, we’ll play some cool jazz or hot reggae.

About s/v Island Time
s/v
Island Time is a 35’ Beneteau Oceanis 352 built at
Marion SC in 1999. Fully equipped with all the amenities
needed for a pleasurable outing or learning experience
including a fully equipped galley and AC.
Installed are Radar, VHF radio, GPS w/chartplotter, all USCG required and necessary safety gear. The Oceanis 352 is a CE Class “A” vessel “Any Oceans, Any Weather”.
s/v Island Time is restricted to a max of 6 passengers. Small vessels are not “CG Inspected” but must comply with the Regulations in Part 46 of the US Code related to small passenger vessels.
